Personal Counseling for Individuals

Taking that first step to come to counseling can be a very important one for many people.  Often people are reluctant to take that step and are not able to take advantage of the help that is available.  Some of the most common reasons people come for counseling are:

  • Getting support, encouragement and a different prospective on the problem
  • Processing confusing events or life changes and developing new coping skills
  • Examining patterns and behaviors from the past that are no longer working and gaining insight on how to develop new ‘ways of being’
